Have you ever had a custody agreement? Since you paid maintenance I am assuming that custody was taken care of during this as well? Your agreement or settlemene order was signed by a judge and is a legal document. If your ex is keeping your child from and found in contempt of court she could easily be made to pay up for your legal fees. There is always the legal aid option as well. Check with your County Attorneys office about low income help.
