Speaker wire question. 10 pts for best answer?

im hooking up some speakers to my tv and i need to extend one of the wires so it will reach the receiver, however all i have is some direct burial outside speaker cable. It's the right gauge and everything so can i still use this inside even though it's a direct burial outside wire?
