Why doesn't our government know how to use our military?

No more of this "Hearts and Minds" bull ****. We need to hunt down these terrorists and eliminate all of them. What happened to our fighting "Don't **** with us and we wont **** you up" spirit? An Army General, I don't remember his name, suggested that we cut off Osama Bin Laden's head and parade it through Afghanistan, but they turned down his request and gave Osama a propper burial. Why would you give a propper respectable burial to Public Enemy Number 1? They're cutting our soldiers heads off and some MPs get in trouble for making the captives take some embarrasing pictures at Abu Graib. The same guys I'm "friends" with over there I see shooting at me a couple days later. What happened to the days of General Pershing? I understand that it's a turmoil region, but if done right we can still go back to the way America was and still not look like oppresors. Hooah?
